After an acquisition, 600 users in four countries had to collaborate as if they were one company, respecting local data regulations and without halting operations.

Two tenants, two identity systems, different security levels and countries with their own data residency requirements. Sales could not stop for a day and shared mailboxes and Teams channels with customers had to keep working.
First cross-tenant synchronisation and B2B collaboration so everyone could find each other in Teams immediately. Then phased cross-tenant mailbox migration per country, OneDrive and SharePoint migration in waves, and Multi-Geo for data residency within the EU and UK. Intune policies harmonised, conditional access standardised and Purview labels rolled out company-wide. A change team per country guided users.
