The provider discontinued ISDN and the firm had an old switchboard in the meter cupboard. The main number was on stationery, business cards and at the court and absolutely could not change. Lawyers also wanted to be reachable at home on the office number.
Number porting requested and the switch planned at a quiet moment. Cloud telephony with six desk phones and a softphone app on mobile, voicemail-to-email, a simple time schedule for opening hours and forwarding to the on-duty lawyer outside office hours.
